This is the opening sequence for a film Nezi and I created called After Dark ...
The concept for this "film" was 'A Chase' , where we had to create a chase sequence with a tracking shot. In the digital storyboard and the animatic of this sequence, it included sound effects and timings etc. Whilst filming, we recorded extended versions of the timings, just in case the timings in the storyboard were too short. On the day of shooting we decided on using a 'hand-held' effect on the camera, for it gave the sequence alot more suspense.
When editing the timings seemed too long and dragged the scene on too much, therefore I changed a few timings on the last few shots. This gave the sequence an extra sense of tension and adrenaline. The soundtrack was a favourite of mine, becauase it gave the whole scene a double-up of emotion.
